Denison Performing Arts, Inc. was formed as a non-profit organization for the purpose of providing stimulation and enrichment of the natural artistic inclinations of the young people of our community. Each year, more than 4,500 students in Denison schools are exposed to quality presentations in music, drama, and the visual arts. Funding for the programs is received through grants, businesses, and individuals throughout the surrounding area. In 2004 DPA celebrated 25 years of bringing quality programming to the students of Denison schools and was voted "Best Non-Profit Partner" by the Denison Chamber of Commerce
